For this week’s fundraiser spotlight, I’d like to share some GoFundMe’s of families that are trying to escape Rafah, vetted by the grassroots organization Operation Olive Branch. I’ll try to pick a few fundraisers to focus on each week, and if you have the means, I’d highly recommend donating! If you’d like to check out the page for yourself, here is the link.
Help Palestinian family to evacuate from Gaza
This fundraiser is headed by a fourth year medical student, Abdullah, currently stuck in Rafah along with several of his sisters and other remaining family members. As someone who is currently pursuing higher education, this story really struck a chord with me. Please help them escape and for Abdullah to finish his education!
Emergency: Help Evacuate My Family From GAZA WAR
Ahmed Alshawish is trying to get his family out of Gaza (he currently lives in Germany). His sisters Haya and Amal have severe medication allergies to several antibiotics and NSAIDS, so being stuck in Gaza is extra life-threatening for them. The sooner they can get out, the better!
