Welcome to another week of Aster and the Fire! A few things to note: 

1) Pride is almost upon us! It feels more important than ever to celebrate considering the outright hostility that the LGBT (especially the T) has been experiencing from the government and larger society these past few years. This year I intend to be more involved in events IRL, and lowkey I want to donate some money to some LGBT causes. Keep an eye on this space in case I decide to do something on the website!

2) In the spirit of Pride, one of my fellow SpiderForest friends, Jacki, is running a Kickstarter for a print run of the first four volumes of their excellent comic Kings of Sorts! If you like Aster and the Fire, you will most likely be into KoS. It hasn't quite reached goal yet, and it only has a few weeks left, so any contribution counts! 

3) Applications to join the SpiderForest Collective are opening soon! If you're interested definitely keep an eye on this.
