Too many questions, Aster!!!

Welcome back to another update!!! I have some good news this time:

1) I got a job offer!!! I can finally unclench because holy shit that was stressing me out the past few months. Details are still being hammered out but I will know more by next week. I'm very excited to start doing actual research again.

2) My cousin had a baby in early August and both are well. It was supposed to be later in the month, but health complications forced the delivery day back. I got to visit them this past weekend and the lil guy is a delight! He looks like a lil chubby chipmunk and is so calm and curious. Can't wait to see him over the holidays when he starts to be able to smile and move around a bit.

3) I went on a mini vacation to the beach! I haven't been in so long, and being able to swim in the ocean and walk down the shore like I did as a kid was lowkey super healing. I really want to do a longer vacation next summer, maybe bring friends or my family there.
