Hi y'all, I hope you are enjoying Pride Month and Juneteenth! I certainly am. I've unfortunately got some bad life news, though. I found out pretty recently (like last week recent) that my boss failed his annual review and didn't get a permanent position in his department, which means my lab is going to shut down soon (within the next year). Which means I have to look for YET ANOTHER JOB. I'm two for two on having the labs I join shut down in the past two years, which is both hilarious and extremely exhausting. Luckily, I have a pretty good network at my current department (and outside of it) which means I should be able to get a job within the institute I currently work in, if not elsewhere. So it's not as dire as last time, but hoo boy it's still stressful!
As such, I had to take a break from AATF to process the increasingly wacky sitcom that is my life, but I wanted to make sure this page was posted! Don't worry, though-I'm still working on pages, and am actually planning to go on and update some earlier pages based on some recently acquired feedback! See you in the next update!
