Teodros intervenes before Aster can panic.

Hey y'all! Welcome back after *checks calendar* two months!!! Very belated happy holidays and new year! Hope 2026 has been going okay for everyone so far.
I've divided this blog post into several parts for your convenience! First part is the life update, second part is the revival of the donation links, and the third part is the annual Comic of the Week event! Hit that readmore button if you want to see them all.
What the fuck happened to you?
I am truly sorry for not posting for this long. I have been extremely busy, to put it lightly! I spent my holidays at my sister's place helping take care of her after she had surgery (she is okay) along with the rest of my immediate family, and then after the holidays got immersed into my brand new postdoc! Not to mention that I've also been intensely editing a manuscript for my graduate school research for publication. It finally feels like things are starting to calm down a little bit, and I've been able to settle into a routine, so I've been able to devote more time to the comic proper. And I mean it!!! I even hired a very competent storytelling editor back in January to help make sure that the comic's plot is going to go as smoothly as possible. Thank you Kelci for all your hard work!
Donation Station
I'm going to start up the donation links section again because shit has been absolutely WILD in the U.S. and many people in our communities need help. Please check it out down below, and if you have anything you'd like added, please let me know in the comments!

Comic of the Week-Weeks 1-5
Comic of the Week has arrived! For those that don't know, each year, SpiderForest hosts a cross-platform feature of several of their member's comics once a week, often grouped together by theme. I have about five weeks of comics to post so bear with me...I'll include little blurbs if I have read and/or like the comic!

The Bright Side follows the coming-of-age of two best friends: a self-assured human girl named Emily, and the eternal but naive Death. They navigate life and love together, expand each other's worlds, and only occasionally receive mysterious portents of doom from the future. |

Comics of the Week - Week 2: Mad World
When things aren’t what they seem to the naked eye, when reality seems bent and broken, it’s up to the characters in these tales to keep hold of themselves. (Song Credits: Tears for Fears)

Numb is a horror mystery comic that begins with Levi, who ends up in an accident that has something else behind it than just a careless street crossing. One cannot brush past the Field’s call… |

Comics of the Week - Week 3: Wayward Son
These comics explore stories about finding what's lost and much needed cures. And we all know journeys lead to change, one way or another. (Song Credits: Kansas)

Pneuma Vita In a fungal infested Earth, 10-year-old Lyka must venture out of the city for a mysterious plant that holds the cure to her father's debilitating asthma. Very neat post-apocalyptic comic with one of the most selfless kid protagonists I have ever seen. Also, big fan of the vibrant color schemes! |

The Quest of Casey Tailor is about Casey trying to get his baby sister back home. He meets helpful humans and faeries along the way but the kidnapper has powerful magic and cares not for the chaos in her wake, she also has a connection to Casey he didn't know about... or didn't want to know about. The recent big reveal kicked me in the metaphorical balls and left me for dead (very good, go read it). |
